Financial Interests

Patients have a right to know if their physician has a financial interest in the surgery center. A “financial interest” means that your physician may have an ownership or investment interest through equity, debt or other means in Indianapolis Endoscopy Center. This center is jointly owned by Visionary Enterprises, Inc., Community Hospitals Indianapolis, Inc. and some of the physicians from Gastroenterology Associates. Someone from Gastroenterology Associates will inform you if your designated physician has a financial interest in Indianapolis Endoscopy Center, prior to scheduling your procedure at the center. As a patient you are free to choose the center or any facility for your procedures/services required, without a penalty, subject to any limitation of your health insurance. A list of Indianapolis Endoscopy Center’s physician investors is available upon request.
